07 ego problem with velocity

Ok my Etek and my 07ego will not chrono up to 280. I put fresh name brand batteries in them, reset the boards and of course turned up the reg pressure.

The solenoid looks fine on both and I am at a total loss.

Anyone know anything about this gun?

Replica mods?

Hey i was wondering if anyone has done or maybe knows someone who has done replica mods like tommy guns, 50cals, MG42's that sort of thing.

i'm split between building an MG42 and a thompson.

Very Very few of the ones i have seen are actually automatic and none still use a field legal responce trigger.

i just came across a dm5 tonight, figured, what the hell, ill give electronic markers another chance. ive heard that the dm series is decent, but ive never had any experience with any.

sofar, i know that it uses cocker threaded barrels, not an issue for me at all since i have a few cockers in my gear bag, lol. and i also noticed that they are going for a lot more that i got it for everywhere ive seen em for sale.

is there anything special about this marker? is there...

Hey my etek is jumping like 50-70fps at the chrono
I know these guns pretty well and i think the solenoid might be skrewed even though it looks ok.

Post up if you got any idea on what might be wrong i'm going to strip it top to bottom tommorow and see if i cant find something broken, dirty, bad oring anything

98 Custom trigger problem...need help

My son & I put a double trigger on his 98 Custom over the summer. It's worked GREAT!! All the sudden now it doesn't fire all the time. The trigger slider is hanging up on the sear. I've messed with it and can't figure out why all the sudden its doin' this-if you push the trigger forward you can hear it clear the sear and it fires. The only thing is he played in the real heavy rain last Saturday, not sure what that would do...

Ion Leak

I can hear a hissing noise coming from inside my Ion, I think it's one of the two hoses inside the grip, there pretty old and probably need to be replaced, but I was wondering if I need any sealer to replace them, or can I just pull em out and push the new ones back on?

well i lube my bolt with this gun oil stuff and it seemed to make it slide well. but i started noticing it sticks after setting a little bit then lostens up again. and the bolt seems to be geting warn on the front. i am new to electric markers but i dont think this is normal to be wearing this fast. plus the manual says not to lube the bolt and that it lubes its self. could the lube i put on it be whats causing it to wear? does anyone with a f8 not lube there bolt without any problems?

my velocity is just eatin up batteries like crazy and i was thinkn about puttin in a new chip. has anyone used the virtue chip that cna tell me if it is worth it or not. and is it better on batteries than the gangstart chip?

I have a Tippmann A-5 that I'm completely content with because i tend to only play woodsball with my friends. Lately I've noticed all my friends have been getting new barrels giving them distance over me. While the Flatline is the standard choice for A-5 owners, I was wondering what other suggestions I could get. I have heard bad things about Flatlines - them being extremely inaccurate and almost irreparable after one chopped ball. Preferably I'd want a barrel with modest range...

Hey guys i'm putting a macroline on a 98c so my redz grenade asa fits correctly. I dont think there should be any installation issues other than removing the old plumbers tape from the asa but if theres something i dont know tell me.

What do you guys know about the F8? I'm starting to look for a new gun and i was thinking about an F8 but i don't know because I've heard mixed reviews. I will not get a shocker of any sort but if you guys have other suggestions for markers in the 400- 450 range it would be appreciated. Oh and I wont have the money for about a month or 2 so don't try and sell me your stuff unless you want to wait that long. Thanks.
